Understand Psalms 1:3 What is it saying to you

Good day Beloveds! Happy Monday to you, we are still on Psalms one. If you haven't read last week's teaching on verses 1 to 2 please first start there so you can understand the below teaching as it's a continuation of Psalms 1. Read   Remember I said there are only two types of people according to God. The tree and the chaff. Sadly we can't just pick the one that suits us, it's all determined by the ways we live. Is it aligned with the ways of a tree or a chaff? People who are trees live according to verses 1 and 2 . They don't take advice from the wicked, stand with the sinners or join the mockers. They are satisfied with living a righteous life and always following the word of God. The rewards and blessings you receive from God for living this way are what would show if one is a tree or a chaff. What are God's promises or blessings for those who live according to verses 1 and 2? Psalms 1:3 NLT [3] They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fr...

Understand Psalms 1:1-2 What is it saying to you?

Good day, Beloveds! As we step into this glorious new week, I joyfully pray that the Lord opens your heart to receive an abundance of His blessings! Amen! In my journey of faith, I once thought that God viewed us all equally, showering His blessings uniformly upon everyone. However, reflecting on Psalm 1 has filled me with awe and gratitude, revealing a beautiful truth that transformed my understanding! Psalm 1 presents us with two vibrant pathways in God's eyes. It’s not about how others perceive us or even how we see ourselves; God has a delightful benchmark for each of us. We are all uniquely crafted by our Creator, but how He relates to us depends on whether we are like sturdy trees or like chaff dancing in the wind! You might wonder, “What does that mean? Tree and chaff? I’m a human!” Remember, the Bible often uses poetic language, inviting us to uncover the profound meanings behind these vivid images, even if they’re not meant to be taken literally. There's a beautiful wa...

Understand Joshua 1:1-9 What is it saying to you?

Good day Beloveds  The Word of God is a precious gift which is why you mustn't just read it. You need to understand it so you can live according to it. This leads to the manifestation of God's promises. Today we look at Joshua chapter one verses 1 to 9. Let me give you a bit of a background. Joshua is a newly appointed leader for the nation of Israel chosen by God. This nation consists of twelve tribes, these tribes are descendants of the sons of Israel also known as Jacob. Israel was the son of Isaac and grandson of Abraham. Abraham is the man that God promised to make a nation out of him. This is the nation, these people Joshua is leading. Joshua has succeeded Moses who just died, Moses was the first leader of this nation. He was just the best, he was the only man who was called a friend of God, and he got to see God. He taught the people how to know the one true God, to obey and fear him. It wasn't easy as they were mostly rebellious but he was devoted to what the Lord h...

Who did Adam's children marry?

Good day, Beloveds, Have you ever wondered about the children of Adam and Eve? A common question that arises is: who did they marry? While the Bible provides answers, many people overlook the relevant scriptures. This often happens because individuals read through the Bible rather than studying it in depth. Some may not read the Bible at all and instead choose to rely on what others say about the scriptures. Don't misunderstand me; being taught by a human can be beneficial, but it is far better to be guided by the Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit is available to teach us all things if only we allow Him to do so. Unfortunately, the scripture below is frequently ignored or overlooked: John 14:26 (NLT): "But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you." Have you heard the misconceptions surrounding Adam and Eve's children? For instance, who did Cain marry? I...

Why is Jesus Christ's race not important

Good day Beloveds  I have often heard people debate about whether Jesus was black or white. It is crazy to even say "was" because Christ still is. Most people focus on the physical and don't realize that it is mostly about the spiritual. Although the spiritual would affect the physical. This starts at the beginning of earthly life when the whole world got corrupt due to the fall of mankind. Good judged Adam and Eve for their disobedience. Fortunately, because He is a merciful and gracious God, He made a promise that a woman's offspring would come and crush the serpent's head (destroy the devil's work.) That is when Jesus being human was first foretold(prophesied) by God. This was not through prophets but through God's own mouth. At that moment Jesus was the supernatural Word of God that spoke everything into existence.  He had no physical body, He was fully spirit.  Genesis 1:3-4 NLT [3] Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. [4] And God...
