Understand John 8:12

Good day, Beloveds  I hope that you feel blessed on this excellent morning. As we continue to transform into Jesus' character with the help of the Holy Spirit, we need to remain faithful and endure in all circumstances. Today, we look at John 8:12. Here, Jesus is talking to the people and not his disciples. When Jesus speaks to his disciples, he shares more details, and when it's the crowd that follows him, he just says enough but doesn't share too much.  Scripture Jesus says, "I am the light for the world."  He could have plainly said that he is the Messiah. Remember God's plan was that the people wouldn't recognise the Messiah. He is the light to the world, meaningful he didn't come for certain people but for all people. "Follow me" , Jesus is inviting the people to be his disciples. To follow him is to obey his commands, do the works that he did and more, and become like him in character (the fruit of the spirit). "And yo...

Parable of the Hidden Treasure and the Pearl: Matthew 13:44

The Hidden Treasure: Understanding the Kingdom Good day, Beloveds. Growing up, I thought Jesus just liked speaking in "riddles" when it came to parables. I found them tricky, but through the teaching of the Holy Spirit, I now understand them as the deep secrets of God’s dwelling place—and how we can experience that place while still on earth. Why did Jesus speak this way? To help the people of His era relate what they didn't know to things they did know. Why is it sometimes hard for us to understand? Because we don't live in an agrarian society, and many of us aren't involved in farming. More importantly, we need the Holy Spirit to grant us revelation, as the Bible is spiritually "encrypted." How can we understand? By using our imagination to relate these ancient stories to modern life, and by submitting fully to the Holy Spirit so He can teach us. Remember: always invite the Holy Spirit before you read the Word. The Parable of th...

The Supernatural Life: Power, Fruits, and Gifts Good day, Beloveds. Did you know that the same power that resurrected Jesus Christ lives in every one of His true followers? This is the reason Jesus said we would do what He did—and even greater things. John 14:12 (CEV) : "I tell you for certain that if you have faith in me, you will do the same things I am doing. You will do even greater things, now that I am going back to the Father." Jesus spent years teaching His disciples to be like Him because He was the perfect reflection of our Heavenly Father. Our origin, as seen in Genesis, was to be like God. Jesus came to return us to that origin and restore our true identity. Genesis 1:26-27 (CEV) : "God said, 'Now we will make humans, and they will be like us...' So God created humans to be like himself..." Before Jesus ascended, He gave His followers an assignment: to complete the works He began. He knew that in our human strength, this was i...
