Understand Matthew 15:1-9

Good day Beloveds  We can sometimes get more caught up in the ways of men and forget that what is more important is God's way. In the below scripture Jesus shows us how traditions, customs and culture can affect our faith and obedience to God. Jesus wash born a Jew but he didn't share the good news about Judaism but about the kingdom of God. Remember that one is permanent and the other is temporary. Let's not mix the ways of men with the ways of God because the day of judgement is only based on the ways of God and not of mankind.

Understand Romans 14

Good day Beloveds  We seem to spend time debating about things that make no difference to the kingdom of God. This prevents us from truly understanding what God expects from us. We spend more time trying to correct or perfect what is spiritual more than what is eternal. On the below scripture Paul speaks against the debate between the Gentiles and the Jews regarding Sabbath and eating clean or unclean animals. In the law [ Leviticus]God told the Israelites [Jews] what to eat and what not to eat, but later God told Apostle Peter that he has made what is unclean, clean. Gentiles were not subjected to these laws. Instead of focusing on what mattered the most as followers of Jesus the people focused on things that only affected their time on earth and not in eternity.  Watch the teaching now     Read online

Good day, Beloveds  Many people believe in Jesus but don't understand the connection to the Holy Spirit. In Acts 5:28, Peter and the apostles were told to stop teaching in the name of Jesus. The apostles were telling people about the resurrection of Jesus, but the high priest and the Jewish council wanted them to stop. In verse 32, we see how Peter and the apostles told them that they came to tell them about how they (the high priest and council) killed Jesus, but God resurrected him and gave him a place next to his throne. What do we learn from verse 32? 1. The apostles were not alone. The Holy Spirit was with them. 2. The apostles received the Holy Spirit after Jesus ascended to heaven. 3. The Holy Spirit is God's gift to people. 4. The Holy Spirit is only a gift to people who obey God. How does this relate to us? 1. Do you know if the Holy Spirit is with you? Before the Holy Spirit can be with us, we first need to receive him. 2. Have you received the Holy Spirit...
