Understand Romans 14

Good day Beloveds 

We seem to spend time debating about things that make no difference to the kingdom of God. This prevents us from truly understanding what God expects from us. We spend more time trying to correct or perfect what is spiritual more than what is eternal.

On the below scripture Paul speaks against the debate between the Gentiles and the Jews regarding Sabbath and eating clean or unclean animals. In the law [ Leviticus]God told the Israelites [Jews] what to eat and what not to eat, but later God told Apostle Peter that he has made what is unclean, clean. Gentiles were not subjected to these laws.

Instead of focusing on what mattered the most as followers of Jesus the people focused on things that only affected their time on earth and not in eternity.
