This is the reason Jesus said we would do what He did—and even greater things. John 14:12 (CEV) : "I tell you for certain that if you have faith in me, you will do the same things I am doing. You will do even greater things, now that I am going back to the Father." Jesus spent years teaching His disciples to be like Him because He was the perfect reflection of our Heavenly Father. Our origin, as seen in Genesis, was to be like God. Jesus came to return us to that origin and restore our true identity.
